Mike Harris

My name is Patricia. I feel that today I need to say thank you to my farrier. Since I have met Mike, my horse is back on track front and back. When we met Mike, she was tripping over her back feet and refused to pick up the left lead for over a year. We could not figure out what was going on. When Mike came, he showed me where she was off balance and how that could interfere with her lead changes and picking up a lead for the lope.

Most recently, my horse got run into by a quad, and her foot got stuck in the winch in the front of the quad. She had major impairment on her hoof and was most likely gonna be out of commission for the season, but Mike came to the rescue one more time with a great set of shoes. Now she’s out in the pasture being a horse, and of course we are so thankful to Mike for rescuing our injured baby again and getting her back on track.

Mike has also agreed to help me relearn how to trim my horses feet. I had a major accident, and I don’t see properly anymore, so I have to rebuild the muscle memory and Mike has ever so greatly and kindly agreed to help me do this. I’m so thankful that we met him when we did. He is a great farrier, and he is always so patient and willing to help my horse and myself learn. We would be truly lost without him.
