Chuck York

For National Farriers Week, I would like to recognize Chuck York for his dedication to the horses and horse owners of Kentucky and Tennessee. Chuck has built a reputation as a skilled, dependable farrier who truly cares about the horses he works with. His client base stretches across the region, a testament to the trust and respect he has earned over the years. Horse owners know they can count on him not only for routine hoof care, but also when unexpected problems arise. 

One of the things that sets him apart is his willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it's making an emergency call on a holiday, assisting equine science students with university research, or taking the time to answer questions and educate owners, he consistently puts the needs and welfare of horses first. In a profession that often requires long hours, difficult travel, and working in all kinds of weather, Chuck has demonstrated tremendous commitment and professionalism, and made a real difference for the horses in his care.

During National Farriers Week, I want to thank Chuck for being an amazing farrier and for his many years of hard work and dedication.
