Morristown, Ariz., farrier Wade Uldrikson passed away following a car accident on September 6, 2025. He was 45.
"With heavy hearts, the Arizona State Farriers Association mourns the loss of Wade Uldrikson," it said in a Facebook post. "His skill, passion and kindness left a lasting mark on our community. Wade's legacy will live on in the horses he cared for and the farriers he inspired. Rest in peace, Wade."
Uldrikson was deeply involved in the Arizona farrier community, dedicating his life to learning his trade and enjoyed time spent with peers. He supported the Arizona Farriers Association, the Wickenburg Saddle Club, the Boy Scouts, CRAW, local schools and benefit auctions with his time, knowledge and handmade creations, according to his obituary. He lived his life with the grit, heart and strength of a true cowboy.
A memorial service is being held at 27610 W Gill Rd, Morristown, Ariz., on October 4, 2025. Signs will be placed on the road to help guide those attending to the ranch. Reach out to Kayla Caekaert on Facebook with any questions.
