Clayton and his team aren’t interested in being good, only great will do. They know that good is the enemy of great. Every horse walks out of their shop better than the way they walked in. I am so thankful for the positive change in my horses and the knowledge I have gained from him.

I cannot thank everybody at Florida Farrier service enough! Be it a rough day or an easy day with my horse's feet, they always keep me positive. It is like having a family. I thought one of my horses would never walk again, and they got her moving fantastic.

For nearly two years, my horse endured the painful effects of laminitis caused by a toxic weed found in his hay. Despite our best efforts, we struggled to make him comfortable or give him the mobility and quality of life he once had. Then came Clayton.
With compassion, expertise, and a deep understanding of equine care, Clayton gave my horse something we hadn’t seen in a long time — relief, movement, and joy. Thanks to his incredible work and dedication, my horse now walks with ease, carries himself with comfort, and has a new lease on life.
We are beyond grateful for Clayton’s skill and heart. His work has not only transformed my horse’s well-being, but also restored hope and happiness to me as his owner. Thank you, Clayton, for everything you’ve done. You’ve made a world of difference.

Clayton & Teri go above & beyond to keep us in the game.

I'm not sure where to start with Florida Farrier Service. What an incredible and dynamic duo I have working on my horse. The very first time I went to their clinic I felt at home within the first 10 mins. I was heard, I was validated and I was understood. He wanted to know our story, what my horse's job was, any information I had on the injury and what my long term goals were. He examined my horse from head to toe. We discussed a game plan and what that would require from me as the owner and from his team. He went to work.
He explained the entire process step by step. My horse was night and day after just one cycle. Heck, if I'm being honest, immediately after the corrective shoes went on. My horse has many many health issues and conditions, and to see such immediate relief was incredible. They reached out to me 2 days later to make sure my horse was doing well. They continued to follow up with me each week thereafter. We just had our second cycle and my guy is better than ever. At Florida farrier service you are not just a client, your family, and your horse matters. I feel blessed to have Clayton!

Clayton was able to address my mare’s lameness and fix it. She has been sound ever since we started using him as our farrier. Clayton takes his time and explains to me what he is doing and why. He is an excellent farrier and teacher.

Clayton Wilber and his team have been caring for our horses' feet for about 18 months now, and I am deeply grateful for their compassionate and meticulous workmanship. Two of my horses are metabolically challenged, and both have suffered repeat bouts of laminitis. I do not know if either of my boys would still be here if it weren't for Florida Farrier Service. I heartily recommend them for anyone dealing with horse hoof health issues.

My vet referred my mare to Clayton on Jan. 1 of this year because of hoof wall separation due to white line disease. I was devastated because I’ve tried so hard to be a great horse mom and give her the best hoof care. As these months have gone on, Clayton has patiently answered all my questions (And there have been a lot!). He worked closely with my vet, scheduling appointments so X-rays could be done. He professionally calmed my near hysteria as he worked hard to eradicate this horrible fungus. And when my mare acted like a horse and threw her shoe (destroying what little was left of the hoof wall), he quickly fit me into his packed schedule and reshod and cast her, thereby preserving what was left. We’re not through yet, but I am beyond fortunate that he is taking care of her, and I’m confident that my heart horse is getting the absolute best care.

We met Clayton and his wife Terrie just recently, and I feel like they scooped my horses up and wanted the very best for both of them right away! They have gone above and beyond in every way possible! I thank the Lord they were recommended to us and wish everyone could meet them and use them as a farrier!
I came to them with an issue with my mare, and I brought my gelding just so they could take a look. They helped him right away, and he was not even getting shoes. They truly care about the well-being of each horse and their owner. They share information and ideas and what they have learned through their years of experience and make you feel right at home as they work on your horses! I cannot say enough good things about them.

Clayton has taught me so much in the past 9 months. I definitely made the right decision when I called Florida Farrier Service after my 29-year-old mare had been diagnosed with acute founder. Clayton explained in detail what he was suspecting in the X-rays, that it was not founder but incorrect trimming and that after a few trims, she would be fine. He was very informative and patient, and I appreciate how he's all about treating the whole horse, not just their feet. I am happy to say my mare is sound again and I am privileged to call Clayton my farrier.
