David Grant, a veterinarian and owner of Equine VetEd Tablet Co., from Denton, Texas, designed the tablet computer program after assessing a need for something to help him in his own business.

“The equine practitioner and hoof-care professional, whether they’re in a barn or in a clinic, often have a need to show and print out illustrations, show videos, print handouts or access invoicing management software, all in the real world,” says Grant. “We developed a 3-pound tablet PC that creates a compact platform to quickly deliver a wide diversity of content for field use for equine veterinarians, as well as farriers.
