Bob also does therapeutic work at B.W. Furlong and Associates and Running ‘S’ Equine Veterinary Services. Bob's professional certifications include AFA Certified (1983), Journeyman Certified(1986), AFA Examiner (1988), and member of Horseshoer's Union Local 16. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania to plate Thoroughbreds and has shod many world champions and Olympic horses in all disciplines. Myron McLane has over forty years of experience shoeing horses. During the past twenty years, while keeping his general shoeing business, Myron has concentrate on therapeutic shoeing. He is currently a Certified Journeyman Farrier with the American Farriers Association. Myron has been active in the American Farrier’s Associate. He has received numerous awards including AFA Administrative Award, Outstanding Clinician of the Year Award Recipient in 1989, Walt Taylor Award and Farrier Legend Award as well as inducted into the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame in 1994. In 1983 and 1984 he was a member of the American Farriers Team. He is chairman of the Rules Committee ad a member of the Convention Planning Committee. Myron is one of America’s leading working farrier educators and is well known as a source of innovative solutions to lameness problems.
