Shelby, N.C., farrier Charles “Chuck” Wray Lemons lost his battle with cancer on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017. He was 72.
Lemons’ passion for horses was realized through his work as a farrier in the Cleveland County and surrounding areas for more than 45 years.
The family will hold a private burial service.
