A three-alarm fire at the Goshen Historic Track in Goshen, N.Y., has destroyed a barn that housed the blacksmith and tack shops, the Times Herald-Record in Middletown reports.

There were no injuries to humans or horses that were reported.

It took about 2 hours for 75 firefighters from 16 companies to get the fire under control Wednesday evening.

Gary Smith, the in-house farrier at the Historic Track, has reportedly lost a great deal of supplies and historic mementos.

Fire officials say that it’s not clear where the fire started in the barn, which sits next to the track behind the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame of the Trotter. One horse escaped when the fire broke out. She was eventually captured.
