Funeral services are pending for legendary farrier Bruce Daniels, according to the American Farrier's Association. A member of the first International Horseshoeing Hall Of Fame class, Daniels passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30.

The certified journeyman farrier from Mullica Hill, N.J., was an industry leader who served as AFA president, secretary, board member and as a member of the American Farriers Team. He loved to share the knowledge that he amassed over his career as a clinician, judge, mentor and author.

American Farriers Journal will publish a lengthier tribute to Daniels in the March issue with links to other articles that he wrote. In the meantime, click here to read an article from a 1980 issue of AFJ that Daniels wrote on measuring stock.
