Does Shoe Placement Affect Posture?
International Horseshoeing Hall of Famer Steven Beane shares insights from 30 years as a farrier, examining how trimming and shoe placement impact equine conformation, posture, movement, and performance.
This presentation highlights both the positive and negative effects of hoof care, challenging farriers to look beyond the foot and ask: When we alter the hoof, are we altering the horse?
