Sign up by visiting our registration booth on the second floor of the Duke Energy Convention Center during the International Hoof-Care Summit.
All non-farrier/veterinarian spouses of attendees are welcome to attend the Summit and the Summit Spouse Program at no cost. We’ll cover a series of classes that focus on business and well-being, as so many spouses are crucial to the success of their partner’s hoof-care practices. What if I only want to attend for one day or for the Trade Show only?See more
If you wish to only attend part of the Summit you can purchase a 1-Day Pass, which gives you access to all educational sessions occuring during any 1 day of your choosing (Trade Show entry included). If you are coming to attend the Trade Show only, you can purchase a Trade Show Only Pass, which gives you access to any and all of the 3 Trade Show sessions that will be held during the IHCS. A Trade Show Only Pass does not allow you entry into any of the Summit educational sessions. To purchase a 1-day pass or a Trade Show Only pass call (262) 432-0388 to speak with a customer service representative., or you may visit the onsite Summit registration desk.
What is all included with my Summit registration?See more
Your Summit registration includes a free 1-year subscription to American Farriers Journal and several other free "attendee bonuses" which will be announced soon.

Do apprentices and hoof-care students receive a discounted registration rate? See more
If a farrier is attending the International Hoof-Care Summit, his/her apprentice can register for only $199.50 — a 53% savings off the full registration price. This offer also is valid for current attendees of a hoof-care school, veterinary student program or veterinary technician program. This discount offer is valid only once as an apprentice and once as a student. In order to register as an apprentice or student you must provide the name and contact information of the farrier you are apprenticing under or instructor and school. Students and apprentices may register by calling (866) 839-8455 or (262) 432-0388.

Absolutely! You can register onsite and take advantage of the special Super Early Bird Rate and save on your 2021 Summit registration. Please visit the registration area Tuesday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Jan. 24, in the Duke Energy Convention Center.

You can get your first glimpse of all of the new products for 2020 and talk one-on-one with company experts during three uninterrupted Trade Show sessions. We are currently working on the Trade Show agenda. Time and location will be announced as soon as possible.

If I’m a veterinarian, veterinary technician, British farrier or a member of the American and Canadian Association of Professional Farriers, can I earn continuing education credits?See more
The 2019 International Hoof-Care Summit is approved for 27 CE credits by the American Association of Professional Farriers/International Association of Professional Farriers. The Ohio State Veterinary Board has approved the 2019 Summit for 30 CE credits. The maximum number of vet CE credits you can earn is 21. You will need to check with your state for reciprocity. What is the Mail-In Shoe Contest and how do I participate?See more
We are continuing this popular contest for the 2020 International Hoof-Care Summit. Contest details will be announced soon.
Step 2: Complete the entry form.
Step 3: Send in the completed form and your entry. If you won't attend the International Hoof-Care Summit, mail this entry form and horseshoe to American Farriers Journal, Summit Mail-In Forging Exercise, 16655 W. Wisconsin Ave., Brookfield, WI 53005. Your entry must be received by Jan. 15, 2019.
If you attend the International Hoof-Care Summit, you can turn in your shoe by Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at 5 p.m. at the station in the registration area of the Duke Energy Center.
If you don't have the ability to access and print this form, call the American Farriers Journal office at (262) 782-4480 and we will mail or fax you a copy. If you are entering from outside the United States, DO NOT assign a value to your shoe on the customs declaration form.
Step 4: Each contestant will receive a free commemorative T-shirt and notes from the judges. The top finisher will earn a belt buckle. T-shirts will be mailed by March 1, 2019, and immediately given to those submitting a shoe at the Summit. Entries can be picked up at the IHCS on Friday, Jan. 25 at the IHCS registration in the Duke Energy Center. All other entries will not be returned.
