Each year at the International Hoof-Care Summit, manufacturers, suppliers and hoof-care professionals come together from around the world to see everything the largest hoof-care products Trade Show has to offer. New connections are made, old friends revisited, and the latest products are available to explore.

American Farriers Journal and the International Hoof-Care Summit are pleased to announce the inaugural "Best in Show" awards, which recognize excellence in exhibit design and celebrate the most compelling and engaging Trade Show booth displays that give attendees the chance to engage "one-on-one" with suppliers.

This new award program is intended to celebrate the time, effort, professionalism and passion that go into Trade Show booth displays at the International Hoof-Care Summit. Award recipients were selected by an anonymous 3-judge panel that included independent hoof-care professionals attending the Summit.

Exhibitors were assessed based on the following criteria:

  • Overall Visual Appeal: The display's aesthetics, attractiveness, and effectiveness in drawing attention.
  • Originality & Creativity: The innovative use of space, materials, and unique design elements.
  • Effectiveness of Product Presentation: The clarity in showcasing products/services and the effectiveness of hands-on demonstrations, technology, or activities that support product knowledge or application.
  • Interaction & Level of Engagement: How active and enthusiastic the booth staff initiate conversations, interact with attendees and encourage attendee participation.

In its inaugural year, American Farriers Journal and the International Hoof-Care Summit recognize four winners: Charlee’s Fly Spray, Farrier Product DistributionMustad, and Well-Shod. Each will receive a prestigious plaque honoring them as a 2026 IHCS Best in Show exhibitor.

The judges noted that winning booths immediately drew attention, were professional and visually engaging. Staff members were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, approachable and encouraged hands-on interaction with the displayed products.

Special recognition goes to EasyCare, JH Forge, Yoder Blacksmith Supplies, and Yukon Forge, which also received votes by our panel of judges for their attentive and enthusiastic staff and professional booth design.

Register now as an attendee or exhibitor for the 24th annual International Hoof-Care Summit, set to take place Jan. 26-29, 2027, back at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Ky.
