Ohio farrier Jackson "Jax" Turner passed away January 21, 2026. He was 24.

Turner attended Troy Price Horseshoeing School in Indiana. A cowboy at heart, he was most content in the mountains and had a deep respect for classic country music artists. He was known for his genuine warmth, sharp sense of humor and heartfelt embraces. He brought light into the lives of many, and his presence will be profoundly missed.

Turner is survived by his parents and many family and friends. A celebration of life is scheduled for March 7, 2026.
