American Farriers Journal is proud to announce it is partnering with the Farrier Industry Association (FIA) at the International Hoof-Care Summit, set to take place in the Cincinnati Metro area, Feb. 3-6, 2026.
The Exhibitor Lounge at the 2026 Summit Trade Show will be dedicated to the memory of Amy Johnson, our former client services and Trade Show coordinator, who passed away in August after a battle with cancer.
The Amy Johnson Exhibitor Lounge will be sponsored by the Farrier Industry Association. Additional details will be released as they become available.
“The International Hoof-Care Summit and American Farriers Journal are thrilled to be partnering with the Farrier Industry Association,” says Jeff Cota, Editor of American Farriers Journal. “Our goal is to be an unbiased source of hoof-care education, and our collaboration is a great opportunity to continue to elevate this wonderful industry.
"We’re also incredibly thankful the FIA is helping us remember Amy Johnson, who passed away earlier this year, with the Amy Johnson Memorial Exhibitor Lounge, presented by the Farrier Industry Association. Amy filled a vital role as the Summit Trade Show coordinator and as AFJ’s client services manager. Her passing is a huge loss for so many in the industry.”
American Farriers Journal is also honored to welcome the FIA to the 2026 Hoof-Care Summit for its annual meeting, which will take place during the Summit.
“As president of the Farrier Industry Association, I’m excited to announce our partnership with American Farriers Journal in bringing our membership and annual business conference to the International Hoof-Care Summit in 2026,” says Robert Michel of Oleo Acres Farrier and Blacksmith Supply. “This collaboration marks an important step forward in supporting professional farriers and advancing hoof-care excellence worldwide. Stay connected with us on social media as we finalize details and announce our expert panel discussions, networking events and exclusive social opportunities.”
