In case you missed it on our Facebook and Instagram, American Farriers Journal is excited to share the winner of the 2026 Farrier Dog of the Year Contest, sponsored by Hemp for Horses! The votes are in, and it’s time to celebrate the incredible canine who captured our community’s hearts.

Luna is officially American Farriers Journal's 2026 Farrier Dog of the Year! We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Luna and her proud owner, Helena, Ohio, farrier Evan Miller. Their story is a testament to the special role dogs play in the lives and work of farriers.

As part of the grand prize, Evan receives complimentary registration to the International Hoof-Care Summit, February 3-6 in Cincinnati, where he and Luna will be recognized on stage.
