Cody Bogard grew up around horses, spending hours observing, riding and playing with them. Before studying to become a farrier, the Cicero, Ind., shoer worked as a barn manager and trainer. This experience helps him understand a horse’s needs from both the farrier’s and rider’s standpoint. He is a Certified Journeyman Farrier with a Therapeutic Endorsement with the American Farrier’s Association.
