Based on Dr. Simon Curtis’ book The Farrier, the Newmarket, England, farrier takes us on a farriery trip around the world to see the stunningly different environments and types of horse in the six continents described.

There are a multitude of breeds engaged in so many disciplines and jobs. Each horse needs a farrier, and they vary as much as the horses. From the wealth of Wellington, Fla., to street farriers among the Temples of Karnak, this is Curtis’ celebration of our craft and the craftspeople involved in it.
