Tennessee farrier Robert Clayton “Clay” Avent passed away June 28, 2025. He was 55.
Clay was a lifelong farrier, blacksmith and cattleman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, children and many family and friends.
Funeral service is July 1, 2025, at the Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home & Crematory in Pulaski, Tenn.
