Kansas farrier Larry Richmond passed away April 21, 2025. He was 76.
Richmond was a member of the Kansas Army National Guard for 6 years while attending Pittsburg State University. After working for farm equipment dealerships and on area farms, Richmond attended Kansas State Horseshoeing School in 1972. After which, he operated a successful farrier business.
He was an avid horseman and past president of the Lyndon Saddle Club. Most of all, he was a family man. Richmond is survived by his wife, Fran, their two children and many family and friends.
