Orillia, Ontario, farrier Bill Hopkins passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020. He was 88.
He was a builder by trade for many years in the Orillia area but his true passion was working with horses as a farrier. Hopkins also enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing, and camping. He will be remembered for his great smile and caring heart for people and animals.
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Price’s Corners. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke’s Anglican Church or to a charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St., E. Orillia.
