Oakhurst Equine is hosting a farrier forum in Newberg, Ore. Dr. Sylvia Ouellette and Dr. Jack Root will be the leading veterinarians. Farriers are encouraged to nominate difficult shoeing cases leading up to the event. Two chosen horses will be brought in, with an Oakhurst veterinarian taking video and radiographs. The cases will be discussed by attending farriers in a classroom setting, creating a plan to shoe the horses.
