Navasota, Texas, farrier Kermit Karnei passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, at his home. He was 68.
He was a long-time farrier and considered a cowboy by those close to him.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 at the Grimes County Fairgrounds. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Encompass Hospice, 3600 Hwy. 6 South, College Station, TX 77845, or to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund.
