North Carolina farrier Rickey Henderson passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016. He was 69.
He spent many years working a variety of jobs. He was a mechanic, Department of Defense contractor in Kuwait, farrier and rodeo rider. He greatly enjoyed being one with the road while cruising on his 1983 FXRT.
A service to celebrate Henderson’s life will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at Robinson Presbyterian Church, 9424 Harrisburg Rd., Charlotte. Following the service, please join the family in the church fellowship hall for a reception.
