Campe Verde, Ariz., farrier Keith “Ernie” Hoehn passed away Tuedsday, June 14, 2016. He was 71.
Hoehn followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a horseshoer and then a master blacksmith, working in his shop until days before he died. He owned Rio Verde Forge, where he rebuilt hoof nippers.
