Frankfort, Ill., farrier George W. Shults passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2015. He was 74.
Shuts was a certified journeyman farrier who was a veteran of the United States Army while serving as a pilot in Vietnam. He was a member of the polo team at Culver Military Academy, raced dragsters and a photographer.
A memorial visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. It will continue until the noon memorial service at the chapel. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations to Alsip to the Rescue.
