EQUINE SCULPTURE. This metal horse greeted tradeshow attendees at the American Association Of Equine Practitioners annual convention in New Orleans in November. The sculpture was part of the display of the International Equine Podiatry Center of Versailles, Ky.

Conducting A Physical Examination Of The Equine Foot

  • Develop a methodical approach and use it every time.

  • Localize the seat of pain to one or more quadrants.
  • Visualize the underlying bone and associated soft tissues when looking at the hoof.
  • Think in terms of identifying the soft structures.
