Former Montana State University Farrier School Director Bryce Kawasaki passed away.

Kawasaki graduated from the MSU Farrier School in 1994. After this training, he started working with several American Farrier’s Association Certified Journeyman Farriers.

Kawasaki has had his own farrier business for many years. More than half of the shoes that he applied were made by him in his shop or at the horse.

Kawasaki was the president of the Montana Professional Horseshoers Association for 6 years. He also was on the AFA Board of Directors during the same time period. He assisted MSU Farrier School Director Tom Wolfe for 10 years before succeeding him in 2012, serving for a total of 7 years in that role.

Services are pending.
