World Championship Blacksmiths (WCB) kicked off its 2020 season of competitions June 17-20 in Edgewood, N.M. The season opener comes a little less than 2 months after the original opening contest in Madison, Wis., was scheduled, but ultimately canceled in the interest of public safety as a result of COVID-19.
About 75 shoers registered for the New Mexico competition.
The contest that was canceled in April has been rescheduled for July 31-Aug. 2 in Madison, Wis.
