While many farriers show horses, a Silver Springs, Fla., shoer shows a different kind of horse — an iron one.

Jan Seutter has invested a total of $80,000 to turn his stock 6-speed V-Twin engine Harley-Davidson Road Glide into a multiple award-winning touring and show motorcycle, according to the Ocala Star Banner. Among the top prizes that his motorcycle has been honored with was a House of Color paint company Best in Class award at the 2019 show in Minneapolis, Minn.

The bike features custom fenders, fairing, an oversized gas tank, air intake, a chin spoiler, a 30-inch front wheel and saddlebags.

“I always wanted one,” says the 71-year-old farrier.
