How to take care of the broodmare, what to watch out for in the critical first 6 months of the foal’s development, the upkeep on weanlings and yearlings, how to maintain stallion’s feet. 10:45-12:00 PM – Vedder Room Conrad Trow, CJF – Hind end lameness. Looking at different ways to help the horse on the hind end do their job and keep feet in good shape. 2:30-4:00 PM – Fraser Room Hans Castelijns CF, DVM – An update on laminitis; prevention, first aid, the sub-acute and chronic patient.
