The Rocky Mountain Farriers Association will hold its fall clinic Oct. 20-21, 2023, in Grand Junction, Colo. The clinician is Pat Broadus, CJF.

Broadus will discuss the cost of keeping a horse shod, and efficiency under horses.

Friday's clinic will be at Sheriffs Posse Arena, 648 25 Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81505. A 2-man forging contest will be from 3-6 p.m. Jim Littrell, CJF, is the judge.

Saturday's clinic will be at Colorado Mesa University Rodeo Facility, 3016 C Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81503. The membership meeting will follow.

The clinic is sponsored by Victory Racing Plate Co. and Oleo Acres Farrier & Blacksmith Supply.

The cost with lunch is $50 for RMFA members and $100 for non-members.
