The Michigan Horseshoers Association will host a spring clinic May 7-8 2021. The clinician is Daniel Jones.
The clinic will feature: All Things to Help You Become a Better Farrier. A hands-on workshop will be held Friday, May 7. It will enable you to get assistance in shoe building and horseshoeing skills to improve your everyday work, as well as develop skills involved with American Farrier's Association certification, competitions, and everyday shoeing details. Horses will be available for the workshop so your trimming, fitting and nailing can be evaluated and improved on.
Saturday's clinic is free to all MHA paid members. If you're not a member, you can buy one for $50 at the registration table. The clinic will include shoe forging demonstrations and live shoeing with discussions of how to manage specific types of therapeutic work.
