Some 86% of farriers are asked by clients to recommend as many as two dozen different types of equine products. The main lines of products that farriers are asked about include hoof boots, fly control sprays, hoof supplements, feeds, joint supplements and hoof dressings.

In addition, 34% of farriers sell products such as hoof supplements and hoof dressings to clients.
