Rockland Township, Pa., farrier Timothy M. “Tim” Phillips passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 31, 2017. He was 60.
Phillips owned and operated Tim Phillips Farrier Service in Mertztown, Pa. He mentored many aspiring farriers.
A member of American Farrier’s Association, American Association of Professional Farriers and Clydesdale Breeders of the U.S.A., he enjoyed working with his draft horses and spending time with his family.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2016, at Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, where Phillips was a member.
Contributions can be made in Phillips’ memory to the Timothy M. Phillips Memorial Fund, c/o Ludwick Funeral Homes Inc., P.O. Box 292, Kutztown, PA 19530-0292. These contributions will be used to fund his granddaughters’ college education in the future.
