Omega Fields Inc. announced that it recently acquired the assets of Saddle Right Inc.
Saddle Right is the Las Vegas, Nev., manufacturer of orthopedic saddle pads for the Western, English and racing disciplines for more than 30 years.
The acquisition represents a cross-market opportunity that Omega Fields says will enhance its core message of living a healthy equestrian lifestyle by taking the best care possible of the horse and rider.
“This acquisition represents a great opportunity for Omega Fields to offer world class products to our customers that focus on enhancing the total riding experience,” says Sean Moriarty, president of Sheboygan, Wis.-based Omega Fields, a manufacturer of flax-based omega-3 supplements for horses. “Omega Fields and Saddle Right share a long history of attention to detail and quality, as well as a partnership attitude with our dealers and distributors. We look forward to continuing and expanding the success of this great Saddle Right brand.”
Janette Freeman, owner of Saddle Right, says the transaction is a natural fit to continue the company’s legacy.
“My late husband Dr. Michael Freeman, a chiropractic physician and applied kinesiologist, developed these unique orthopedic saddle pads over 30 years ago and we spent the next 30 years improving and perfecting our line of products,” she says. “We have loved our customers, our products and this industry for a long time and I can honestly say that I am relieved, excited and grateful to have found such a good fit in Omega Fields to continue producing our great products right here in the USA. Thank you for being the perfect ones to take our company and move it nothing but upward.”
