Madison, Conn., farrier Brent Kirby passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015. He was 75.
After a career as a professional trick rider, stuntman and rodeo star in his 20s, Kirby embarked on a successful career as a farrier.
“He was a legend around here for sure,” says John and Barb Hammarlund. “There are many special memories of him.”
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at Guildford Funeral Home, 115 Church St., Guilford, CT 06437. A short prayer service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
