Farrier Science Clinic, Buckeye Nutrition Form Strategic Alliance

A program aimed at expanding the marketing and distribution of Nu-Foot Concentrate and Fungidye antifungal products has been announced by Buckeye Nutrition and Farrier Science Clinic. Founded in 1910, Buckeye Nutrition offers worldwide distribution of specialty animal feeds.

Bob Peacock of the Farrier Science Clinic in Hamilton, Ohio, developed Nu-Foot to treat laminitic and white line diseased horses. Fungidye, a topical solution used to fight white line disease and other hoof problems, was introduced to the market after years of research, development and clinical trials.

“Offering our customers a scientifically researched answer to hoof disease is a giant leap forward in the equine industry,” says Donald Kapper, vice president of research and development for Buckeye Nutrition in Dalton, Ohio. “We are proud to offer these items along with our other equine nutrition products.”
