Farrier Product Distribution, a leading wholesale distributor of farrier and related equine products, announced that Katlynn Sacco has joined the company as a member of the sales staff; bringing extensive knowledge of the equine industry. In this position, Sacco will work with dealers in the East and Northeast regions of the United States, as well as dealers in Canada. A Cum Laude graduate of Morrisville State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine business Management, Sacco grew up in Syracuse, NY, riding and showing horses competitively. As an intern with an equine nutrition, research and consultation company, she attended the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, KY and The Asian Games held in Guangzhou, China. In addition, she worked for an equine hospital in Lexington as a surgery technician and nuclear scintigraphy technician.

“Katlynn’s experience in the equine world makes her an ideal addition to the FPD sales staff,” states Dan Burke, President of FPD. “Her knowledge and customer service skills will benefit FPD dealers and the farrier industry, as our company and product line continues to grow at a rapid pace.”

Ms. Sacco will work with Dan Burke, Bob Schantz and Rob Logsdon in the expansion of service and support levels to the network of FPD dealers. She is living in the Lexington area.
