In his professional life as a horseshoer, Chris Richardson has moved...twice. Currently residing in Delaware, Ohio, the farrier found that it pays off when you forecast your current after you move.

After his first move, which took him to upstate New York, Richardson mapped out his stay in the Empire State. Realizing he would only reside in the state for a year, he decided to emphasize on furthering his hoof-care education rather than building his clientele.

"It was more important for me to invest in my education while I was there, instead of concentrating on finding more work," says Richardson. Richardson says his approach helps when you need to develop a discipline.
