American Farriers Journal was recognized by Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI) with an award for editorial excellence. The 2025 Tabbie Awards featured nominations from across the globe, with submissions coming from countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, India and Australia.
In the Feature article category, American Farriers Journal received an honorable mention for its annual benchmark study report — Farriers Cut Costs as Gross Income Drops.
Farm Equipment, also published by Lessiter Media, received an Honorable Mention in the Best Single Issue category — the competition's most comprehensive — for its September 2024 Shortline Edition issue. It additionally received an Honorable Mention in the Feature Article category for his article Day in the LIfe: The Long Haul with a Shortline Salesman.
