Bartek Equine's Twin Shoes Steel Horseshoes are designed and proven to allow the natural hoof mechanism the flexibility of being barefoot while providing the same protection and ease of installation as traditional one-piece steel shoes. Utilizing the split-shoe approach, the shoes are proven to prevent and treat a wide range of hoof distortion, soft tissue and joint issues.

When split, the resulting un-constrained hoof mechanism allows the horse to have naturally balanced landing, loading and breakover as well as greater stimulation of the sole, frog and digital cushion. In turn, there is improvement in overall comfort and performance level, increased blood/oxygen, better gait quality and greater shoulder freedom/flexibility.

Designed by farriers, these highly versatile, multi-use shoes can be configured for either split-shoe, traditional one-piece or therapeutic one-piece applications. Many built-in features including pencil heels, sole relief, six nail holes/branch, toe support/breakover and extra tall toe clips make life easier for the farrier and better for the horse.
