Tiffany Gardner (Plymouth, Calif.)

There’s a reason that Bob Smith entrusted management of his world-renowned Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School to Tiffany Gardner. She’s just the best person for the job. Not only are her horseshoeing skills top notch, but she brings empathy for students who struggle in their first days putting metal to hoof. I came so close to throwing in the towel after my first week of school. When I told her I had no faith in myself, she had faith in me. Whenever I struggled, she would find a way to show me what needed to be done. She taught me how to bend steel and nail it on a horse, a person who never worked with hot metal before. She uses finesse and care in working with people, steel and horses. I made it through, largely because of Tiffany. She sets a standard for excellence that her students strive for long after they finish school. I’m sure many others are proudly holding their diplomas on graduation day because she gave them the skill and confidence to see it through. Thanks Tiff. I couldn’t have done it without you.
