A celebration of life and fundraiser for Selma, N.C., farrier Robert Sanders will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 9, 2021, at White Oak Grill & Lounge in Garner, N.C.

Sanders, 53, passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash in May. Sanders' partner Becky Finley was also injured in the crash and has not been able to return to work.

The celebration and fundraiser features a $10 a plate lunch, music, karaoke, magic, silent auction and raffle. Proceeds will be used for Finley's medical and living expenses.
