Boss Tools' Hoof Boss Hoof Care Set is a mobile set that can be taken anywhere. The Hoof Boss Mobile (HBM) uses a Dewalt lithium ion battery. A 5.0 Ah battery will trim 60–70 horses before needing recharging. Both tool and battery can be worn on a belt, apron or attached to a toolbox. The patented Cdisc creates a force that resists engaging the hoof material until the operator applies a slight pressure. This translates to absolute control of the amount of material being removed from the hoof.

For complete control and safety, HBM has an instant on/off paddle switch that allows for one-handed operation. Additional safety feature is the safety tab that locks the paddle in the off position when the paddle is released.

HBM has more speed and power producing a faster, smoother, safer trim. It eliminates any snagging or stalling when trimming hard, rough, cut-up hooves.
