Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Zinpro Corporation announced key changes in its executive leadership positions, including a new president. William Scrimgeour, who previously held the positions of Zinpro Corporation president and chief executive officer (CEO), will remain CEO. The change in leadership will allow him to focus on developing new trace mineral products and launching them to the industry.

“I am excited to work towards expanding Zinpro’s product portfolio and business role to benefit customers with innovative, nutritional products and business solutions,” says Scrimgeour in the recent press release. “I am also looking forward to helping with the successful transition of our leadership team.”

Scrimgeour began his role as Zinpro Corporation’s president and CEO in June 2017. Prior to that, he served as president and chief operation officer (COO) for 9 years.

Rob Sheffer will take over as president of Zinpro. Sheffer joined Zinpro in June 2017, serving as COO. He held prior leadership roles for more than 25 years in the global animal nutrition business. Patrick Brunner, who previously held the role of chief financial officer (CFO), will take over as COO. Brunner has served in the role of CFO at Zinpro since 2013. Previously, he held a variety of financial leadership roles in the manufacturing and consumer packaged goods industries.

“I’m very pleased that [Sheffer] has accepted the role as Zinpro Corporation president and that [Brunner] has accepted the role of COO,” says Scrimgeour. “Both are proven leaders; [Sheffer] has worked closely with me to optimally position Zinpro and our employees for future successes, and [Brunner] has shown great skill in keeping Zinpro Corporation financially sound and leading the team through tremendous growth.”

Zinpro Corporation has been the industry leader in trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, equine, pets and aquaculture for over 45 years.
