Kurt vom Orde

Kurt vom OrdeKurt and I have worked together one-on-one with many owners and their horses over the past 14 years. A 1972 graduate of Danny Ward’s Horseshoeing School, he has had experiences shoeing saddle type, jumping, Standardbred racing, dressage and draft horses from Maine to California. In the last 14 years, he has been daily using his skills and creativity helping lots of problem horses. I feel one of his most important skills is his natural teaching ability. He never considers himself as a teacher, but he is always very willing to share and discuss any of his knowledge with fellow farriers, veterinarians young and experienced, and veterinary students. He does it naturally a minimum of 2 to 3 times per week! He is an excellent, giving person, and can sit in on any weekly book club discussion as a voracious reader. Also a naturalist and historian, he is a true Renaissance man!
