Larry Curell

Our farrier, Larry Curell, is incredible. Not only did he look after me when I became his client with my first horse at age 57, he has continued to work with me to become a better horsewoman. My husband's lovely horse, Annie, has navicular. For her and other horses in the area, Larry has devised a trimming technique and designed a special shoe so that she is now totally sound. She is great on the trails and in the arena. 

He is a 4th generation farrier, and I believe he is a true example of what a great farrier should be. He never does a "cookie cutter" treatment for his horses. He treats each one so specially and has an exceptional eye for angles and conformation. More than once he has assessed and corrected lameness issues with proper trimming and shoeing when others have failed.
