Elise Umstead (Prince George, Va.)
Elise is my teacher and mentor. It's been an honor to work with someone so knowledgeable and dedicated to hoof care as Elise. I have learned so much since I started riding along with Elise a year ago. She's inspired myself and others to pursue higher education in hoof care. Elise offers me everything that I need to be a successful farrier and I'm so grateful for that. If I am having trouble with a difficult case, I know I can call Elise and count on her expertise. She is an inspiration to me and many other female farriers in the industry!
