Bill Krause (New Baltimore, Mi.)

A skilled farrier is an indispensable part of the team required to ensure the highest quality of life for our horses - whether they’re trained athletes, pleasure horses, or pasture pets. The saying "no hoof, no horse" is no joke. Hoof health affects and is connected to the entire animal. Having a farrier you really trust is everything.

Bill has been my mare’s trusted farrier since 2018. He has helped us through illness, stressful situations, metabolic struggles, along with confirmation and environmental challenges. A tactful horseman, Bill treats his equine clients with respect and compassion. He has a good read on each individual animal which helps him to recognize subtle changes that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Because of his nature, Bill treats his human clients with the same respect and understanding. Whenever I have a question or concern or simply want to pick his brain to try and learn more, he is happy to talk me through it in a way that makes sense and that I can retain. He is honest and realistic in his answers, so when horse life is throwing curve balls left and right, you can be confident you’ll navigate through it with the best possible outcome.
