Jeremy Jarvis (Century, Fl.)

Jeremy is a kind and caring farrier. I don't have a big fancy barn like a lot of folks but that doesn't mean I don't love my horses any less. Jeremy has been my farrier for years. Even in the heat of the Florida summer he has never complained about working under the shade of a big tree instead of a barn. He has never lost his temper even though they have given him reason to refuse to stand still or pick up a foot on command. He has always treated them and me with respect. Two years in a row we were on vacation and the person watching the animals called to say my husband's mare was limping. We called Jeremy who fit a visit into his busy schedule to check her. Both times he called to give us an update on her which was very comforting for me to know she was being watched.  My husband has passed now so I'm alone and Jeremy has never made me feel like he was in a rush, he lets me chat while he continues to work. It may sound silly but there are weeks when I have no one to talk with and I look forward to his visit. He seems to know I need his kindness as much as my horses do. I wish I knew how to send pictures but that would be stretching this old lady's technical ability. I think Jeremy is great at his job and the best farrier around but he's also the kindest person you could meet.
